  3. Good luck Larry. Will you tell us how much a certain female deputy d.a. didn't help, once she took over the task force?

  4. Nothing was really accomplished until Richard Lewis took over the task force. He was the real deal!! He was a cop a good investigator and a great Deputy DA all rolled into one.

  5. Don't get me wrong this is not a "Witch Hunt" of the San Diego Police Department. I happened to love being a San Diego Police Officer and received the best training in the country. There was just a select few that I had a bone to pick with.

  7. Former Assistant Chief Norm Stamper was quoted in his "Braking Rank" book on page 41 it stated, in a telephone call with Ed Miller the DA of San Diego County at the time says to Stamper, "We need to talk. In person." " When! Now!Where! The Task Force Office!" You'll have to give me the address. All Norm had to do was to call me, I had the address of where the secret Task Force Headquarters was in Mission Valley . It was on Camino Del Rio South just west of the Interstate 805 overpass. I know because I was meeting with the head of Task Force Dick Lewis on a daily basis and we would meet at the Bake House restaurant on Baltimore and Fletcher Pkwy. to discuss the case. I was very much a part of that case. Interesting!! Only Dick Lewis, the DA knew I was really a good guy when everyone in San Diego thought I was a suspect. Makes you think of the Green Hornet. Only the DA knew!!

  14. I am impressed Larry by your successfully tracking down the killer of prostitutes. Who actively works for justice for prostitutes? Only persons with great moral fiber. I am looking forward to reading your book not only to find out how you did it, but to be inspired by your compassion for the downtrodden.

  15. I've followed those cases over the years. I agree; the story needs to be told. I've also followed the Donna Gentile case and am including hers and related San Diego law-enforcement cases in an anthology book of California crimes. Good luck with your book project. Looking forward to reading it.
